In Russian it is pronounced a-ga-ta, or a-g(a)-ta, with (a) representing a sound closer to u or even sometimes e than it is to the broad 'a' of English.It is not common, but is more common within certain ethnic groups in Russia and certain demographics.
The Italian pronunciation is not ah-GAH-tah but AH-gah-tah.
In Czech it's actually written Agáta and pronunciated AH-gah:-tah.
