I don't mind this name if said as All-doh. Like "Waldo" without the "W"

"Al-doh" (this pronunciation) doesn't do much for me.

I love this name, there is something classic and strong about it. It is also my brother's name, and my mother told me it meant 'older' in Italian. She speaks it very well, and I don't, so I don't know if it's true.

I know this name, in fact, from Spanish. It sounds really tender.
