This name has some feminine usage in the past even though this name is meant to be used for boys only. But I have to say, naming a boy Alexandra is worse than naming a girl Alexander. Girls are the feminine ones so they get to have whatever they want. Technically there are more names for girls to have than boys. It has to do with what’s more acceptable. I don’t know if naming a girl Alexander would automatically make it unisex but it doesn’t hurt.
Overall I love this name:)
