Amadi 2

I am on the same page as afancyapple. I was writing a story when I realized I needed a name for a female character and Amadi was PERFECT. It's been eight years now, and there's absolutely no way I'd ever change her name. It's completely feminine for me.

I don't know how, but somewhere along the way I got it into my head that this could also be a girl's name, and I named one of the characters in my book this. But it's really sticking now, and frankly I couldn't imagine it as a masculine name anymore. I think it's beautiful as a girl's name.

Actually, not so awful. If the child "seemed" destined to die at birth, by some miracle, the child survived.

The meaning of this name is awful.
