Variant English Pronunciation: ahn-JEHL-i-kə.

I have heard every conceivable pronunciation and mispronunciation of my given name throughout my life. I haven't seen the Spanish pronunciation ahn-HEL-ee-kah mentioned here, however, but I think it's the prettiest. As an Angélica, though, I may be a little biased.

Fun fact: My dad named me after Tejano singer Angélica María!

I know someone named Angelica, only she pronounces it with a hard "G" sound instead of a "J" sound. (an-GEL-li-ka).

The Italian pronunciation is not ahn-jeh-LEE-kah but ahn-JEH-lee-ka. [noted -ed]

In Spanish it's pronounced ahn-hel-ee-ka.
