Every Anisa I've ever known has been mean as a rattlesnake, manipulative, and cruel. Before meeting an Anisa, I felt bad for finding this name ugly and 'anus'-sounding... now I find many a bearer suits this association. Also, apologies, but this is easily one of the ugliest sounding and most unfortunate of the Arabic names to an Anglophone ear.

My name is Anisa and I like it. Kinda the meaning is "like love" which is super cute! Although I would still rather be called by my nickname, Ani.

I like this name as well. It's not overused and is pretty with a nice meaning. I knew an Anisa a long time ago and she was a sweet girl.
