A generally nice name, but it sounds and looks too much like "incel" to me. If that word didn't exist, I would love this name!

I associate this name with the great western photographer A. Adams, famed for his magnificent photographs of the Yosemite Valley, consequently making it a creative artist-hero choice.

To me, "Ansel" just sounds like a badass name. If it was used as a character name I could see it on the hero, the villian, or a soldier. It would be cute on a little boy today.

That's a great name, I simply love it!, I like the fact that it's like a hidden gem (not very common or overused at all). When I hear this name I picture a handsome, mysterious guy, light skin and dark eyes, he would be irresistible and charming!
