I think this name is really cool and should be a bit more common than it is. Even though the meaning isn't the greatest, the rich history behind this name makes it awesome. Easy to spell, not too popular, and gives you a good impression. Love it!

I know it's supposed to be a masculine name but it always sounded girly to me. Although if the real Ares heard me say that he'd probably kill me, haha. But maybe it can be a gender neutral name.
