I am from Northern Europe and don't understand the American trend to use Europeans surnames as given names.

Don't like the meaning, but not bad overall.

I personally think it's a great feminine name. I love this name a lot.

I like this name for a boy.

Great masculine name and not one that is used much. Takes a strong woman to pull off this name.

I feel like I am the only girl named Barrett, lol. I mean it's different, I just wish my name was more feminine.

I don't really like this name, reminds me of Barret (the thing you wear in your hair) and also I don't like the meaning of this name either.
