My son is called Arthur and we call him Bear as a nickname! Love Bear as a nn, not so much as a full first name.

My husband's great grandpa was called Bear. I've always loved it, and it's one of our first choices for a son if we have one. It's quite pleasant and has a nice ring to it when said or heard aloud. We also have a kitten named Mika that we call Mika-Bear.
