Very pretty. I met a preteen girl named Bernadette a while ago and thought her name was absolutely beautiful.

Bernadette and Bernadetta are really cute in my opinion. As for nicknames, Bern is a lovely option.

I think it sounds cute and dainty but I can see it on a grown woman too. It’s also the name of one of my favorite characters from The Big Bang Theory :)

I love this name! I wish I had a name like Bernadette instead of something "popular". Saint Bernadette of Lourdes is my confirmation saint. I wish that I could be more like her and love Jesus and Mary the way she did. What an honor and privilege it would be for a little girl to bear the name of Bernadette! Bring it back!
