Bevan Congdon, OBE, (1938 – 2018) was a New Zealand cricket all-rounder who played 61 Test matches and 11 One Day Internationals from 1965 to 1978, which included a spell as captain.
Bevan George, OAM, is a former field hockey defender from Australia. George won a gold medal with the Australia national field hockey team (The Kookaburras) at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, and captained The Kookaburras at the 2008 Summer Olympics, where they won a bronze medal. George retired from international competition after the Beijing Games, having played 208 games for Australia. In the 2005 Australia Day Honours George was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).
Bevan Sharpless (1904 – 1950) was an American astronomer, best known for his 1944 discovery that the orbit of Phobos was decaying.
