Brita

I actually use this name as a middle name. It sounds good with the rest of my name, but I have always been embarrassed to use it. It's just an odd name, that sounds a little too silly. However, don't let me stop you from liking it. It could work very well as a first name for the right person.

Brita doesn't sound Finnish at all in my opinion. I always mangle the pronunciation. It's quite a nice name in other languages, however. Somewhat sweet, like Brittany in English, though literally too since there's a cake called Brita cake.
