Catharine

Catharine is such a sweet name to have! I think of all the sweetest things whenever I see or hear this name.

I really like Catharine, even though it reminds me a bit of the word cathartic.

This is my name, and, while I get a bit down occasionally at all the Catherines, Katherines, etc. I'm surrounded by, I love the unique spelling of my "Catherine spinoff", if you will. I've been told "Catharine" is a Welsh variant of the name, but I see the French've got it, too!

This is my favourite spelling of Katherine, and I like the fact that it hasn't been used much since the 1950s.

My name's Catharine - not Catherine. It's French. I first thought it was kind of old fashioned but after a while I realised it's a great name. There are people telling me this name is classy, stylish but not too trendy and common.
