Can also be pronounced suh-LEEN, like how Celine dion pronounces it. I like that pronunciation better, céline sounds like saline.

It is soft, refined, melodious.
I immediately think about ice; pale grey, white and pearl colours; a cool breeze and silvery silk.
I think that Céline fits perfectly on a calm, serene, good-mannered girl (and later woman). One of those people who never loose the calm, never run and never shout nor speak loudly.
