Krista is so much better in my opinion.
Super cute name.
I like it. But I like the Krista spelling better. I love Krista. I would use it if my uncle didn't marry a girl named Krista. She's a lovely woman but not related to me so I probably wouldn't name a kid after her even though we are very close.
The name Christa was given to 90 baby girls born in the US in 2012. The spelling Krista is currently more popular.
I think it sounds awkward and incomplete. Christina is already a shortened form of Christiana, so Christa is a shortened, shortened form, which is too short for my taste. On the plus side, it sounds fresh, like ice crackling in sparkling lemonade on a hot day. I knew a Christa. She was nice, if a little ditzy. Still, if you want a really cute name, go with Christabel.
I can't decide whether I prefer it spelled Christa or Crista. I have seen both.
I personally think that Christabel is a far better form of this name. Christa can be a nickname instead, as people automatically shorten it.
It's a really akward-sounding name, if you want to give your girl a Christian name, name her Christina.
Love it! Not too popular and very pretty.
I love this name! It sounds so pretty.
Very pretty name but I prefer the spelling Krista.
