Very pretty. I went to school with a girl by this name, and we all learned to pronounce it correctly.
This is my Nana’s name as well as my middle name. It is so beautiful and I love this name so much! It flows so nicely!
My middle name is Concetta, which I get from the Italian side of my family. Everyone from my grandmom and above is 100% Italian, and I got my middle name from my great grandmom. Her first name was Concetta. I think it's a pretty name, but when most people attempt to say it, it comes out as Kohn-set-Ta.
I think this name makes me unique, and having a history with it is pretty cool.
Reminds me of conch shells, haha.
There's a girl in one of my classes named Concetta, who goes by Connie. Considering that we're both of Italian descent, I'm surprised I hadn't heard the name before. It's pretty.
I don't particularly care for this name, but I don't hate it either. It's a little too frilly for my tastes. I go to school with a Concetta, the second oldest daughter of a large Italian family, and she's in many of my classes. Every time we have a substitute teacher, her name is always mispronounced, so keep that in mind if you are considering naming a child this.
A beautiful name with its origin from the immaculate conception of the virgin Mary.
Concetta is definitely considered dated in Italy. Not many people nowadays use it. I personally find most Italian Marian names to be ugly and dated, but this one more so than the others.
I believe that in Italy this name is considered the ultimate in frumpy, country, old-lady names. I don't think it's so bad, though!
I think it's so pretty and sweet!
