I actually think this is a nice name, maybe a good nickname for it could be 'Connie' (that's what I'd call anybody with the name if they had that name).

Constant Chase, lol! The first thing I thought of is the name jokes about Constance Noring (Constant snoring :D) I do not like this name in French either: it just sounds really nasal.

If you want to use a name like this definitely go with Constantine.

I would only recommend this name in French. In English, Constant would sound very ridiculous as a name.
