Davis

Cool as a surname, not a name because it's overwrought and unamazing.

Davis is a name I find very interesting, as it is less common than the name David. I've seen and met plenty of people with the name David, but I've never met anyone named Davis. I also think it would be pretty funny if someone was named "Davis Davis", as I've seen lots of people with it as a surname too.

Way too much of a surname for my liking.

This could work as a female version of David.

I think Davis makes a cute forename for a guy. :D It's a lot more original than the name David. I can't find any faults at all over the name Davis. :)

It's a lot more original than David. Not a favorite, but I think it's okay.

Nothing wrong with it as a surname, but I hate it as a first name. Rhymes with Mavis, that hideous grandmother name.
