Denny

There is a character named Denny in the movie Cloud Atlas. He is a wealthy elderly man who tricks his brother Timothy, who is constantly asking him for money but never paying it back, into checking himself into a retirement home.

Denny was the best friend of Theodore "Theo" Huxtable on the American television series "The Cosby Show".

Denny is a character in "Dhalgren" by Samuel R. Delany. He's 15 years old, and the main character's lover, and a pretty bland character. Delany later used this name in "Hogg," in which Denny is the member of a group of rapists for hire, and later goes on a killing spree, writing "It's alright" on the walls in the blood of his victims.

Denny Laine (born Brian Frederick Arthur Hines) is an English musician best known as a member of The Moody Blues and co-founder of Wings. Ironically, Paul McCartney (another Wings co-founder), was the lyricist behind "Penny Lane".

Denny's is an American family restaurant chain with over 2,500 restaurants worldwide. It operates like a diner in that it is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and all its meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert) are available all the time.
