Dewayne is even worse than Dwayne. It sounds like the name of some thug.

The spelling is utter crap, and the name itself always sounded annoying to me. I can already imagine someone pronouncing this in an annoying, loud-mouthed, nasal voice with an irritating grimace.

Eew. This name is horrible. It looks like "Dee-wayne" rather than "Dwayne". Go with Dwayne. It would be better.
