My name is Elly and I love it! And just because it's usually a nickname doesn't give other people on this site the right to totally trash the name if it isn't used as one. It's just a name. Calm down.

Elly is a cute and wonderful name but I prefer Ellie for some reason. Probably because my friend's name is Ellie.

I love the name Elly! It's adorable and cute, it has a sweet sound and it's pretty. Though I think Ellie and Elly are just the same thing. And I think they are perfect as full names.
