Ender

Endermen. Nuff said.

When I hear this name, I think of a boy who loves the colors black and purple, but that's probably just my association with Ender Dragons and Endermen from Minecraft. Great name though! Sounds cool and edgy, but not in a bad way. :)
Also happens to be one of the characters in the book I'm writing. He can summon black holes.

I like this name. But I think your kid would get called 'Enderman' at school.

English speakers would interpret it as meaning "one who ends [an event, situation, etc.]".

I think Ender sounds strong yet androgynous. I would use this as a middle name but I can see it working for a first or last name.

It sounds rather feminine to me. I would definitely not use this for a child, but it is wonderful for a fantasy story-almost dreamlike. Also, I love the meaning.
