Erasmus

A few letters off from being Marasmus, the name of a condition where a child is severely malnourished... and one letter away from being Merasmus, the name of a character from Team Fortress 2.

My husband is named Erasmus. To me, it is a very romantic and mysterious name, just like my loved one. The name truly fits his personality.

I'm sorry but the beginning of this name reminded me of "eraser". I'm neutral toward this name though.

I love the way the name sounds when it is mentioned because as for myself, that is my name and we are intelligent too.

I like the name. It has a nice ring to it. But I wouldn't name a child this in today's world. This is more for a book character. Just my opinion.

I love the sound and look and now that I know he was the patron saint of sailors, that's even better!
