Evalyn

This spelling makes it look like it would be pronounced as EEV-uh-lyn.

I prefer this spelling to Evelyn. It's sleeker.

I don't like the "a" in the middle. Although I like Eva better than Eve, I prefer the combo of Eve and lyn rather than Eva and lyn.

I have always loved names that sound Celtic or elvish (my boyfriend does as well) and this is a beautiful name that doesn't sound too bizarre.

I think this is a really pretty variation of Evelyn. =) Mostly because I like the combo of Eva and Lyn. It's such a sweet name.
