Fayard Antonio Nicholas (1914–2006) was an American choreographer, dancer, and actor, who with his brother Harold were the Nicholas Brothers, known for their unique style of rhythm tap that blended masterful jazz steps with daredevil athletic moves and an elegance of balletic motion. The duo starred in MGM musicals of the 1930s and '40s. In 2001 Fayard was inducted to The National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame.
