Strange feelings about this name. It feels like Gene has something to do about biology, science or something, but not like someone's full name. Name itself is not bad, it looks and sounds mature, however still feels weird. Not of my favorites.

I called my elder son Gene because it was a bit girlish so with a name like that he would have to work hard at it through life ending up 3rd in cage fighting went on to training the Australian Diggers before going to Afghanistan. Now has a tow truck business and is doing very well at it. So remember the Johnny Cash song- I called him Sue so that had a little bit to do with it to. (So I am pleased I called him Gene and not Bill John Harry Brian Ha Ha )
