Tomorrow, I am beginning a new spiritual journey, and what better place to begin than from the beginning? Genesis is a symbol of freshness, purity, and emotional well-being. It represents the ethereal feeling of walking through life at peace with yourself and the universe. It brings to mind a lotus: a miraculous symbol of enlightenment and rebirth.
Many commenters here don't seem to know the difference between religion and spiritualism. Atheists, like myself, do not believe in a specific religion, but many choose instead to have their own special beliefs. There's nothing wrong with naming your child something like Trinity or Christian, even if they grow up to have different beliefs. It means they can reaffirm their discoveries of who they are as a person.

Genesis is also the North American name of the 16-bit Sega console that launched in 1989 to compete with NES (Nintendo Entertainment System), and later the SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System). It is called Mega Drive everywhere else. The most famous game series the console was most known for was the "Sonic the Hedgehog" series.
