It is unique and quite lovely. I am keen on masculine names turned feminine and this is a perfect example of just a sweet name. The nickname "Georgie" is so cute too.
Strong, mature, has class, has elegance, just a wonderful name! Also really rare. Georgette- great name for strong woman!
It’s a pretty, uncommon feminine version, better than Georgina.
Lovely, vintage, and classy.
Very elegant. It's pretty. I thought it would be pronounced George-ette.
My 6 year old daughter is named Georgette. She also goes by Georgie. It is a fantastic uncommon name. Without a doubt the only one in her school with the name. Everyone knows her without needing a last name. It helps that her personality fits the unique character of the name. Her entire life she has been complimented on her unusual name.
While not unique, definitely uncommon. I hate all nicknames of my name.
This name sounds gorgeous, especially with the correct French pronunciation. I would prefer it as a middle name.
Sounds so pretty and classy!
Gigi is a cute nickname.
It sounds nice in French, but imagine the English pronunciation. Just George with an "et" sound at the end, which isn't very pretty at all.
Lovely, feminine name, and Georgie isn't a bad nickname either. Also, beats trailer-park Georgia any day. :)
Much more elegant and refined than the overused Georgia.
I love this name, but it's not popular among my sisters or friends. I think some people associate it with the masculine name George, and if they don't like George it's likely they don't like Georgette. Personally I think it's very sweet and feminine.
My best friend's name is Georgette, and she has a bit of a love/hate relationship with it. I think it fits her, because it is unique and eclectic. I'm jealous of the many nicknames that can come from it.
It's definitely a unique name. But I hate when people ask "Can I call you Georgie?"
Georgette is a beautiful name. Strong, yet pretty and good for both a baby girl and a grown woman.
