The comments under the name Helmut are pretty harsh! I don't think the name Helmut is ugly. In fact, I really DON'T think it's THAT BAD. I like this name. It's cool, it's different and I think it's NICE. :-)

Yuck. This name is ugly, violent, and old-fashioned. It sounds too close to the word "helmet" for me to think it should be a name.

It's more of a grandfather name nowadays, and I can't imagine it on any young guy. I never did like the name anyway, it's quite ugly.
