Issy

I'm tempted to pronounce it like "Isssy", it reminds me so much of a snake. Probably my least favorite nickname of Isabella/Isabelle.

I don't like this name. Name your girl Visola and make Issy the nickname, or name your girl the combination Visola Issy and make Issy the nickname.

My nickname is Issy and I honestly think it's an okay name. Sure, it's weird, but I really like it. I pronounce it Izzy, but I spell it like Issy. It is a cute name or nickname for a girl and is definitely unique.

I want to say Ihss-ee so bad, and this spelling is worse then Izzy. I personally prefer Izie for a girl, even though it looks weird.

Can also be a nickname for names with the 'iss' sound in them like Melissa, Marissa, Alissa, Clarissa, etc.

I babysit a little girl named Isabelle, nickname Issy. I never really used to like the nickname, it's grown on me and it suits her. I do, however, prefer Izzie and Izzy over Issy.

I would never name my child this, because he would forever be branded as p*ssy Issy. (Or prissy -- no boy wants to be called that.)
