In Hungary many men have this name. What makes it ugly? It's not.

I think this name is very ugly. I wouldn't name my child so, even if someone would pay me for doing so.

I don't think that any name could be ugly. Maybe you feel that it's very uncommon in your region or hard to imagine this form in you language.
