Reminds me of the French party of Jacobins.
This is a beautiful name! Be respectful to parents and their kids. Just sayin! Anyway it’s so feminine and modest. Unique just like you are! Wonderful wonderful name!
It's pretty!
Why?
I prefer the male version of the name, Jacob (I'm one of them). For a girl it is too strong and masculine in my opinion. The best female form is Jamesina.
I like the name when it is pronounced with a J in the front. I would love to name my daughter this and call her Coby or Cobi.
Very harsh and ugly. Too many severe, clanging consonants and to me, it doesn't sound feminine at all. It's surprising, and quite depressing that some parents would name their daughter such an obvious feminisation of Jacob. And it makes me think of the Jacobite Rebellion and Wars, which lead to the death of many Irish and Scots; the Boyne and Culloden being the first words which come to mind.
