Horrible name.

People are getting confused about genders now. I think that: Jesse is for a boy, Jessie for a girl, and Jess is unisex.

Cute name. Much better than Jessica and Jessie.

Good nickname, but I don't think you should name your child just Jess.

Jess is a sexy name. Some people prefer Jessica and there is nothing wrong with that.

This name is actually really cool for a guy, but I would name him Jesse and call him Jess so people don't assume he's a girl.

For a boy, Jess seems so innocent and original, but with a girl it seems a bit catty and overused. Just a thought.

My name is Jessica, but I go by Jess. As a nickname I think it is suited for either gender, unless the girl is very 'girly'. As a name by itself it's better for boys, but it is better as a nickname than name.

I love this as a nickname for Jessica.
