While not as good as Joy, it's still an ok name.Better than Joye.
I really like this name, I just don't like the spelling. I'd honestly prefer Joy, but everyone's name is spelled Joi these days. Someone named Joi once sat next to me in science.
Cute! I would never use it, though.
Joi and Roi would be excellent for names for twins!
Used by the Portuguese.
As a person that actually has this name, the amount of spelling errors people make of this name is just horrible. The amount of mispronunciations too so that kind of sucks. Of course I love my name but the name can actually garner very sexual nicknames (personal experience with friends). Though some might see it as immature, it’s a nice change from seeing “Joy”. I’ve read one of the comments about how it’s like changing “boy” to “boi” and that’s exactly what it is. However, the times where you see “boi” is rather rare which makes it special.
Crappy spelling.
As a person who knows a decent amount of French (though I'm by no means fluent), this name looks like it should be pronounced ZHWAH, not JOY. And since it's missing an 'e', it also looks masculine--if you still have the French mindset.
Wow, this is bad.
Seeing as this is also a noun, I really think you should spell it right, otherwise it looks just as silly as someone spelling 'boy' as ''boi''. This spelling is far too cutesy and immature, but it looks like crap, so it's not actually cute.
I like this name, but I don't like the spelling! I prefer JOYE because I think it is cuter.
