Like many names, Jolyon has many pronunciations. My son is named Jolyon and we pronounce it JOE-lee-un. I think it is beautiful written and spoken.

In "The Forsyte Saga" miniseries, Jolyon is pronounced JOE-lee-uhn, not Jolly-awn. It sounds quite like Julian but with a Jo- sound instead of Ju-.

Actually, in "The Forsyte Saga", it's pronounced JOE-lee-uhn. Much like Julian but JOE replaces the JU sound.

In "The Forsythe Saga" miniseries, it's pronounced "JO-lee-ON." I love this name, and gave it to my son as a middle name.
