I think I prefer Leah as a full name, but Lia as a nickname for a full name. For example Dahlia, Cecilia, Ophelia, Natalia, and then with the nickname Lia.
It's nice, but a little boring and too short for my liking.
I personally think that this is a beautiful name! But, I would rather name my child Leah.
I’m not into it, it’s very short, it’s only good for a short name like, Amelia, Emilia, Rosalia, etc.
Leah is such a pretty name! Every time I think about what I am going to name my baby girl the first name that comes to my brain is Leah. It is also a really easy name to spell, however many different spellings. I personally think (Leah) is the best spelling then second (Lia).
Really pretty! I also love Leah!
Ok, I LOVE THIS NAME! Everything about it is pretty. I haven't seen many Lias, only Leahs, and Lia is so much prettier. I would definitely consider using this as a name.
I think this is my favorite spelling of the name! It’s beautiful and because it’s so short and sweet it can be paired with beautiful middle names too. For example, Lia Madeleine Reign would be stunning.
Simple name, nothing much good or bad, but name looks alright, simple, also elegant! I like it! Lia looks and sounds a lot better than boring looking and sounding Mia. Name is alright!
Beautiful. ❤.
It's pretty.
I've always preferred Lia and Lea to Leah. Leah looks slightly forced, while Lia and Lea seem more natural. However Lia is definitely my favorite spelling out of them all. It looks prettier when written down, and it can age better than many other modern names that people are using.
Nice nickname for Amelia or Julia.
I really don't like this name, I prefer Lea.
I like this name as a nickname since it's too short for my liking. Other variations of this name are Leah or Lea.
Lia is a nice diminutive of Rosalia, Jula, Emilia, Olivia, even. But it is a good alternative to Leah as a full name because the spelling is less common.
My name is Lia. It is NOT a nickname. My name seems very delicate and polite, but honestly, a name doesn't define a personality. As the ratings show, my name seems to be more serious than comedic, it is physically impossible to tell whether the person herself is actually serious or not without meeting them IN PERSON and TALKING TO THEM.
I much prefer the name Lia over Leah. My mum and dad nearly called me Leah and I'm kind of glad they didn't. My mum says that "Lia" looks like a spelling mistake, but I don't really like names ending in the suffix "-ah". Lia is a lovely name.
Might use it as a nickname for Lillian!
This is a beautiful nickname, but I don't think it makes a good actual name.
I have a cousin with Lia as a name. It suits her. Such a kind lady! It's a great, short name and it doesn't sound strange at all. Lia is my favorite spelling of Leah.
I think it is a beautiful name, short and sweet and it works perfectly as a middle name. It's very annoying when people keep spelling it Leah. It drives me round the twist!
I like Lia way better then Leah. Leah looks forced and overrated, Lia is magnificent.
I love this name! I love the sound, but I hate it spelled Lea, or worse, Leah, so Lia is just perfect. I have only ever known one girl whose name was Lia, spelled this way. It is by far the prettiest way to spell this beautiful name.
Short and sweet. I love this name, it's nice on a little girl and I think it ages well.
My friend's name is Lia. Her middle nanme's Pearl. I like the name Lia, but not Pearl.
I think it's extremely pretty, I've always loved the sound of the name but disliked the spelling Leah, so this is perfect and uncommon as well.
