I love the name Louie it’s so cute I can just imagine a little boy running around called Louie.

Louie is an adorable name. Although I prefer it on a boy, it could work as a girl name. (But not as a given name! Short for Louise/Eloise only!)

I thought this was the French version! (oops!) Hate the name Louis; love the name Louie.

Louis is pronounced loo-EE is french. That's where you probably got "I thought Louie was the French version." thing.
