As this is my name I may be biased.
It is of French origin and combines Louise and Anne, which is originally Germanic/ Teutonic 'Louise' meaning 'battle maiden' and Hebrew 'Anne' which means Grace. So I guess that makes me a graceful battle maiden?
Also, the Band Foreigner in the 1980s chose this name as a song title to a very sought after young woman.
So forget The Simpsons, all us Luanne's are desirable graceful battle maidens.

It’s just one of those sterotypical names, it’s sad though because I find it really pretty :(

I don't know why, but this name doesn't sound redneck to me at all. It sounds kind of Hawaiian, actually.
