Mable (this spelling) was a daughter of Oberon and Mab in a poem by Rev. Thomas Parnell, which later had a stage adaptation, an unnamed "fairy opera" which was erroneously attributed to R. B. Sheridan. Ref. Parnell, Thomas. "A Fairy Tale in the Ancient English Style." c. 1714.
