Too heavily associated with Macaulay Culkin to even consider using. The association with Thomas Babington Macaulay is probably even worse considering his downright racist, disrespectful attitude towards Indian culture.

An interesting, attractive name. It sounds simultaneously dapper and casual. And it includes elements I really like from Murray and Mackenzie, but is different enough that my negative associations with those names don't apply.
Unfortunately, I know nothing about the politician and would probably want to do some research before I actually used this name, lest folks assume I'm making any sort of political statement.
On look and sound alone, though? Macaulay is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.
