Very serious, strong, mature name. I like this name, Magda, isn't it good? Quality name. Also, rare in these days.

It is very curious that this Biblical name (alongside of Magdalena) is completely absent in the English speaking countries, despite the fact that other Biblical names are way overused there. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the Biblical Magdalena was a prostitute?

Magda is a wonderful name! I envision it on someone who has both inner and outer beauty. My five cousins also spring to my mind since their initials in order spell out this. I find that to be awesome!

My mother's name is Magda. I love how it is pronounced in my language and I don't really think people will remember Magda Goebbels when listening to it.
