I have a cousin named Mahalia. I think it's pretty, probably because I'm biased! She says it "muh-HAL-yuh".

A young girl at my church has this name. Her sister's name is Melelia, pronounced "muh-lale-ee-uh", so the names are very similar. I think it's bold to name your child these names, they are unique and not many people have heard of them. Beautiful to hear though.
