When I first saw it I thought it would be pronounced like Mal or Male. But now I think it COULD be pronounced as Molly. Guess we will never know.

I believe this would be pronounced like Molly, considering that is also a medieval diminutive of Mary.

Lovely name! Very lyrical and dainty. I prefer this to Mary.
