Margo Kitsy Brodie (née Williams) is an American judge. She is the chief United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She became chief judge of the court on February 1, 2021.
Margo Channing was the lead character in the highly-acclaimed 1950 film "All About Eve". In the film, she was portrayed by Bette Davis, who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress. In the 1970 Broadway musical version "Applause", the character was portrayed by Lauren Bacall, who won a Tony Award for the role.
Margo has a literary namesake in Margo Lane, the love interest of radio, comic book, and pulp magazine detective hero The Shadow ("The Shadow Knows!").
