I don't know why, but this name sounds kind of country and like a cow's name to me. It does sound pretty though.

I have never met anyone with the name Marielle, save for my sister. When I think of Marielle, I think of a pretty girl, who is polite and nice. Basically the opposite of my sister. But my family calls my sister Mari.
