I had a teacher named Marilou. The spelling always makes me think of 'caribou'!

Maybe just name her Mary Louise and call her Marilou. This name looks so dated and southern.

It's not as bad as Luanne, Darlene, and other 1950-ish dim-witted country girl names, but it counts as one of them for me.
