I always thought this name came from the Polish word for dreams, which is marzenia. I never knew it was a diminutive of Malgorzata!

Love this name. Very pretty, elegant, feminine, and strong. I would love if this was my name! My favorite nickname is Meg. It’s not a common nickname for Marzena, but Marzena is a Polish version of Margaret, and Meg is a nickname for Margaret.

I really like this name. It’s unique, but not weird. It does sound a bit old, but definitely in a good way. My name is Margaret, and this sounds old in a bad way (in my opinion). Marzena does not. I would much rather be named Marzena!
