Maxine

Maxine Minx (played by Mia Goth) is a major character in the 2022 horror film X. She is an aspiring adult film star who has to fight for survival as she and her costars become the targets of an insane couple.

Maxine Jones is an American singer best known as a founding member of the R&B/pop group En Vogue, one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time. Maxine Weatherby is an American ice dancer who competes for Kazakhstan. With her skating partner, Temirlan Yerzhanov, she is the 2020 Kazakhstani national champion and the 2019 Denis Ten Memorial Challenge bronze medalist. They competed in the final segment at the 2020 Four Continents Championships.

Maxine Nightingale is a British R&B and soul music singer. She is best known for her hits in the 1970s, with the million seller "Right Back Where We Started From" (1975, UK #8 & 1976, U.S. #2), "Love Hit Me" (1977), and "Lead Me On" (1979).

Not a famous bearer per-say, but Maxine Feibelman was the first wife of renowned songwriter Bernie Taupin from 1971 to 1976. Her romance, marriage, and divorce from Taupin influenced the lyrics to at least eight songs by his lifelong friend and songwriting partner Elton John. These songs include Tiny Dancer, I Feel Like a Bullet in the Gun of Robert Ford, the lesser known Someone's Final Song, and my personal favorite EJ song, Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me. Of course there's also Maxine (Max) from Stranger Things! :)
