There are different pronunciations of Mowgli. While the American English Mo-glee (rhymes with go) is well known amongst many film goers around the world, the usual British English pronunciation is Mow-glee (rhymes with cow rather than with go) [noted -ed], the Hebrew pronunciation is Maw-glee, the German one is Moe-glee, the Russian one is Mao-glee, and the Thai one is Maok-Lee.
